Humpback whale observation around the Channel Islands

We had an incredible four days of Humpback observation around the Channel Islands region. Approximately 20 whales have moved into the east channel and have been very boat friendly. Seems all we had to do was get into the area and they would find us. What a show! There were times the would not allow us to fire up to go home...seems they enjoy our company. Having been working offshore my entire life, encounters like these never cease to amaze me and renew my interest in my chosen profession
